Overcome Depression

Depression Can Be Beaten and Without Drugs.

The Black Dog Has Bitten:

You have succumbed to the debilitating consequences of depression. It’s a total bummer making your life unbearable. You begin to doubt yourself, you can’t sleep properly, you have a short fuse and snap at the slightest provocation, your energy is drained to an all time low, your self confidence has gone and you feel like there is no point to life anymore. It is not a good place to be and what is worse nobody seems to understand. Your family are intolerant and tell you to snap out of it and go find something constructive to do. Your friends don’t even bother to come around anymore and you feel isolated and alone. Thoughts of self harm start to take hold in your mind and you can’t shake them away.

You have been bitten by the Black Dog

The black dog of depression
The Black Dog is depression

Do you know there are countless others who are suffering in the same way and they all share similar symptoms? There are about 350 million people around the world suffering depression and it’s debilitating effects at any one time. We cannot imagine how much that is costing in lost productivity and medical expenses. Many people who seem resilient to depression can be very judgemental and accuse you of being lazy or say you are a no hoper, get your act together. This makes you feel worse and certainly does not help you feel any better.

Doctors also struggle to deal with it effectively and often just write you out a script for the latest drug to get you out the door. These act as a band aid for a while but the illness does not go away that easily. Most antidepressants have a very low success rate and many will have side effects that can put you in a more diabolical situation. One known side effect of the prescribed drugs is an increase incidence of suicidal thoughts. Many of them are addictive and you will have a hard time coming off them and on top of that they can be costly.

Depression can be treated without pills
Pills are not always the answer

Better results can be had from spending time with a very qualified therapist or counselor. Talking through all of your concerns can be very helpful and lighten the load immensely but you need to ensure you have found someone who you can relate to and feel comfortable with. They are sometimes very expensive and they require you to turn up for appointments regularly. The session is not usually open-ended as other people will be scheduled in too and it may end before you have a chance to open up about how you are really feeling. There is no guarantee it will work for you but it will help to some degree.

Destroying the Black Dog

There must be something you can do that will bring more permanent relief and assist you to live like a normal person again. Modern science has enabled us to do many amazing things. Things our grandparents would not have dreamed of but it has struggled to come up with a satisfactory answer to curing depression for all of those 350 million people suffering with it. I just figured that if 350 million people take one day off work it would cost the economy  52 billion dollars. That is staggering because that is just 1 day off.

The internet has become an incredible source of information where we can learn about anything we want. You just ask Google and in seconds an answer to your question will be there. I know much of it has to be sorted through as it cannot all be relied upon. However, in my research for this website I came across some information which will blow you away. It has been getting excellent results for those who get on board with it.

I came across this fellow from the United Kingdom called James Gordon who claims he has the answer to beat depression. He suffered with depression for many years and endured the side effects of all the various treatments he tried with no real results. In the end he pulled himself together enough to research depression and he finally came up with some really good answers. He was sick of spending the little money he had on drug therapies and in sheer desperation worked on a cure that would not work for him only but for anyone else who was bitten by the black dog.

His research saw him studying copious books and talking to many medical specialists and listening to the stories of other people who had suffered as he had but had been able to overthrow the depression. With all this new knowledge he then spent countless hours devising a 7 step plan that anyone could follow and achieve the same results he had.

To make up for all the lost productivity earlier and the hours spent in research he decided to make it available to the general public for a small fee. The cost is minimal when you compare it with what would normally be spent on drugs and doctors bills. On top of that he is so confident that this system will be the answer for others that he is prepared to guarantee the results if you follow the 7 steps. I do not know of any drug company or any medical practitioners who will stand behind their work and guarantee results.

It is called The Destroy Depression System and if you have access to the internet you can get a hold of it and try it for yourself. Just hit on the link below. At least give it a try and get those you know who suffer depression to try it too.

I suffer with anxiety myself but would never want to go on drugs that ill have to rely on for the rest of my life, so I like that you’ve added this article to show that medication isn’t the only way to get better, with depression sometimes anti depressants cant make you feel worst espicallly when you stop taking them.

Jayde thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment. Anxiety and depression are very closely linked and are often treated as one and the same.  There was a really good offer at the end of the post which may be of help to you or perhaps someone else you know. It is good to avoid taking drugs if we can.  I really do hope you can overcome your anxiety issues.

I completely agree that depression can be beaten without drug, infact I’m of the opinion that the best form of treatment for depression is not drug but other forms of therapy. Ones environment, both internal and external also plays an important role in healing from depression as it is also a trigger. I’m sure there are other factors that would be explained in detail in the book .

Thank you for your thoughts Zuchii. I believe most illnesses can be beaten without drugs. God has given us a lot of natural resources to nourish and to heal. You are also right about the environment playing a part. For some it might just be the weather. A long run of cold gray days can be depressing.

The topic of depression is widely spoken in our time that leaves me wondering whether there’s a physical cure for it since it’s an emotional thing. It’s interesting to read “without surgery” in your article that leaves a question lingering on my mind as to how depression can be solved by surgery. Has there been a case like that? I will be interested to read about it.

You’re definitely right, having a knowledge of what this book offers will not only help me to develop myself but help friends who find themselves in that situation. Thanks for this information.

Thank you for your response DerrAD.  Surgery would only be used if there was something causing excessive and impacting on a persons quality of life. A lot of elderly people become depressed just because they cannot cope with pain issues. Its a catch 22.  So yes there have been many cases where surgery has been used to alleviate pain and thereby reducing anxiety and lack of sleep etc.

I have purchased those books myself and finding them to be a rich source of valuable information.

I have found an excellent article about depression which can be beaten and without drugs. I have some friend who are used to take drugs when they are in big depression and their guardians also support this because of taking doctor’s prescription. Though it is very tough to be cure in natural way but it is good without side effect. I am going to refer it to those friends and guardians who does not care about side effect. Thanks for this helpful information.

Thank you for reading my post Mzakapon,  Drugs can sometimes be helpful but there is always a risk of side effects. It is better if we can find other ways before resorting to drugs. It would be good if you referred your friends who are struggling with depression, they may find the answer to their problems and be able to live a more fulfilled life drug free.

It’s really nice to see someone covering the subject of beating this dreadful depression without the use of medication. It’s always baffled me really – a lot of people suffer depression DUE to drug use as a teenager/youngster, they are then asked to put new legal drugs into their system to beat the condition – makes no real sense to me!

Great article with a great message – I look forward to reading James Gordon’s new Depression System.

Thank you Chris for your thoughts. I hope you find the books helpful reading. I have bought them myself and they do make a lot of sense. I like your comment that drugs being used by teens causes depression and then they are prescribed more drugs.. It makes no sense to me either.

Thanks for the recommendation, my son and wife both suffer from anxiety and depression, it’s a horrible disease for both them and others that are having to watch them for through it, wanting to help but not knowing how. My son has just started reading books so I will be giving him the link of this article. What has helped him also is talking about his condition he now has a weekly podcast called the talking hug if you want to check it. 🙂

Thank you Martin. Your son has made a good and positive move. I will check it out. I love the title. the talking hug. In my last post I shared my belief in the 3 T’s. Talk Time and Tears . We all deal differently with situations but talking is a great way to start healing. When people wont or can’t talk then we have a real problem. You are to be honored for hanging in there for them and supporting them when they must sometimes be depressing to be around..They need your love and support and it more than anything else will help them get well.

A relation of mine has been depressed for weeks now and I can attest that it’s not pretty at all. He’s currently on meds but we are not seeing very positive results. Due to the foregoing, I have been trawling on the Internet to find a lasting solution and I came across your article. As you term ‘The black dog’, depression really is a black dog. 350 million people are quite a huge number of people that have been ‘bitten by the black dog’. Many thanks for sharing James Gordon’s Depression System. I will get a copy so we can embark on assisting our patient to naturally get rid of depression.

Thank you Victor Depression is not pretty especially in someone you care about. But he is so lucky to have someone who has not abandoned him and is willing to help. I hope you find some really good value in the book.

The meds are a band aid, they will often mask the real problem so if it can be overcome in other ways it is better.

Amazing, I will have to buy Destroy Depression for my brother. After car accident back in 2016and got injured, resulting in his left leg amputated, he has suffered from depression, though I understand the source of his depression, I don’t like his suffering as fear it will bring more illness. I have bought him different medicines in the past, but the results weren’t impressive. Let me try this book, looking forward to an impressive result

Thank you so much for a great article

I am really happy to see your website. I have similar views about depression, perhaps a bit more extreme…. I actually think the label “depression ” was invented to drug out society. I agree that people can have issues, but the label given is a marketing ploy to drug people (my opinion).

Overall the theme of depression NOT being cured by anti-depressents I agree with 1,000,000%

I also came across another website and YouTube channel with eye-popping information about this topic of anti-depressents. it’s called CCHR, you can check it, it might give you insightful content for your future blogs too.

Keep up the good work! It is people like you who share valuable information online and doing their part to help people – that are the heroes.

Good on you Seun, depression is an awful illness and we need to find ways to beat it that really work. The book outlines a course of action for you so you will need to stick with it and see it through. I would love to hear back from you when you finish it  I am working through it too. I do not suffer depression but I am trying to understand it as I see some of my family members suffer with it.
